Ever since the invention of computers one of the most popular parts of this machine has been the inkjet printers. The inkjet printers have indeed taken printing to a completely new level. Since the 1980s when the inkjet made its first appearance, the printer has really grown in popularity. And the more it grew popular, the more the consumers demanded for it and as a result the price fell making it all the more accessible to the common man.

So how does an inkjet printer work? The image that is created with an inkjet printer uses a number of dots. These dots are very small ad miniscule. In fact measurements have shown that the each dot is smaller than the diameter of a hair. To be precise one square inch uses 1440×720 dots. The positioning of the dots is used to create the image. It is the right positioning of each of these dots that lead the photo quality print.
